We are delighted to announce that we have completed our first Web Design project and we are feeling very proud. A few months ago we were approached by Pixel Photovisual Studio, a creative Photography and Filmography business, based in Cyprus. They wanted to create a new website for their business that would showcase their work in a stylish and modern way.

Meeting & Discussing:

We met up with the owners Angelos and Ifigenia to understand a little more about the history of their business and get a feel for their brand. We defined what their requirements were and what they were hoping to gain from the creation of their new website.

Brainstorming:

We then took it from there and started brainstorming. We did some research and looked at similar businesses. We finally came up with some creative ideas and reverted back to our clients with possible themes and concepts as well as a quotation.

The final Client Specifications for the new Pixel Photovisual Studio website were:

• To create a Sleek & Modern website.
• To follow a Dark Theme (with the option to switch to Light Theme if needed).
• To keep it minimalistic and with organised photography albums, that would clearly showcase their work.
• To ensure that it is a user-friendly website and that it is easy to navigate
• To make the homepage interactive for the users and make them curious to enter the site.
• To ensure that it is optimised for all devices (incl. desktop, laptop, tablet and mobile phone)

Material Collection:

Once we agreed to work with these guidelines, we started to collect all of the material we would need in order to start building. (This included the business logo, the brand colours, all of the photography and videography they wanted to showcase and the details regarding the team).

Designing:

The fun part started once we started designing. We designed the following main pages: HOMEPAGE, PHOTOGRAPHY, VIDEOGRAPHY, BLOG, CONTACT.

The PHOTOGRAPHY was organised and displayed into separate albums, being:

• Fashion Photography
• Street Photography
• Wedding Photography
• Christening Photography
• Pregnancy Photography
• Studio Photoshoots
• Nude Photoshoots
• Commercial Photography
• Concert Photography

Additionally, we created a Pixel Photovisual Studio YouTube Channel and we created a Google My Business profile to improve their Google Searchability.

Presenting our progress:

Once we felt ready, we showed Angelos and Ifigenia a first draft of their website and arranged a ‘presentation’ meeting. We presented everything we had worked on up until that point and gave them some time to request any changes.

Finalising & launching:

Last but not least, we finalised the Pixel Photovisual Studio website, by tweaking and making some last changes. The beautiful website is now live, and we are happy that we met the client specifications by creating a stunning website that is modern, user-friendly, and easy to navigate. The website is also optimised for all devices and also provides the option to switch from a dark theme to a light theme and vice versa.
